A cotton t-shirt would also be suitable, but try to avoid anything with too much stretch.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGiven the dark background of the print, you'll probably find it easier to use a dark navy (similar to the colour of my jeans) or black item, but any colour will be workable.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you're a total beginner, a flat item (such as a t-shirt or tote) or a button up (a shirt or jacket) might be a good starting point.
